ImmunoPrecise Announces Results of Annual General Meeting
VICTORIA, Nov. 21, 2018 /CNW/ - IMMUNOPRECISE ANTIBODIES LTD. ("ImmunoPrecise" or "IPA") (TSX VENTURE: IPA)(OTC PINK: IPATF) announces that all resolutions were passed by the shareholders at its annual general meeting ("AGM") held in Vancouver, British Columbia on November 20, 2018.
Shareholders, represented in person or by proxy, at the AGM voted in favor of setting the number of directors at 6, appointed incumbent directors Jennifer Bath, James Kuo, Robert Beecroft, Robert Burke and Greg Smith as well as proposed nominee Paul Andreola as directors of the Company for the ensuing year. Shareholders also appointed Crowe Mackay LLP as the Company's external auditor and approved the Company's rolling 10% stock option plan.
"Paul Andreola is a valuable addition to the board of ImmunoPrecise, and we are fortunate that he has agreed to be part of our future growth," said Jennifer Bath, Chief Executive Officer of ImmunoPrecise. "With extensive financial market experience, Paul will add strategic leadership to our board in all areas of finance and acquisitions."
Mr. Andreola has over 20 years of business development and financial markets experience including senior management, marketing, and communications roles for early stage companies. Previously in his career, Mr. Andreola was a licensed investment advisor for over 10 years and has facilitated multiple early stage private and public companies in the resource and technology sectors. Mr. Andreola currently the CEO and director of Brisio Innovations Inc. (CSE: BZI) and Ironwood Capital Corp. (TSXV: IRN.P).
