IMP Group acquires Image Air Charter

TORONTO, March 1, 2013 /CNW/ - IMP Group Limited (IMP) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, has acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of Image Air Charter Limited. Image Air employs close to 60 employees and is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. It manages a fleet of 20 airplanes and specializes in executive travel via its air charter and aircraft management services.

IMP, through its division Execaire, is one of North America's longest-serving corporate aircraft companies that has managed, maintained, and operated aircraft for more than 48 years. Execaire, with extensive operations across the country, will now serve clients with over 290 employees and a managed fleet of 53 aircraft.

Michael Fedele, Execaire vice-president and general manager, said, "The acquisition of Image Air will serve to enhance Execaire's already outstanding charter service and aircraft management services."
