Project completed on budget, on schedule and with no lost-time safety incidents
CALGARY, June 24, 2014 /CNW/ - Imperial Oil Limited today announced the completion of a major maintenance turnaround at its Cold Lake Mahihkan facilities.
"We would like to wholeheartedly congratulate and thank our contractors and employees for completing this major turnaround without a lost-time safety incident," said Zaidah Ibrahim, Imperial Production Manager.
Ibrahim added that special recognition goes to the following contractors, for supporting the maintenance activities without so much as a first-aid incident: Acuren Group Inc., Atlas Copco Canada Inc., Bullseye Oilfield Service Ltd., Clean Harbors Energy and Industrial Services Corp., Dalco Services Inc., ENTREC Corporation, GENMEC ACL Inc., Let's Roll Consulting Inc., Magna IV Engineering, Magnum Energy Services, Myshak Crane & Rigging Ltd., Morgan Construction and Environmental Ltd., Online Sealing Services Ltd., PRIMCO DENE EMS LP, Quadra Industrial Services Ltd., Raven Refractories Ltd., Schneider Electric Canada Inc., Seven Lakes Oilfield Services, Silverline Insulation 2005 Ltd., Studon Electric and Controls, Target Safety Services Ltd., and Tomco Production Services Ltd.
The turnaround was executed in five weeks as scheduled and within budget with 200,000 total hours worked.
