The achievement of the production of first cement, a crucial and expected step, has been welcomed by the entire team with enthusiasm and satisfaction.

With the production of the first cement, our team has commenced the various tests required in our laboratories. Preliminarily, the results obtained over the last few hours are in line with our expectations.

Bear in mind that the construction commenced in the Spring 2014. The Port-Daniel–Gascons complex includes, the quarry, the cement plant and the marine terminal. With the very latest technologies, the plant will produce 2.2 million tons of cement annually. The company also operates its own distribution network in both Canada as well as the United States.
