Important road closures at Pointe Nord on L'Île-des-Soeurs - Closing of one
lane on Highway 15 North and Ramp 3 for the entire weekend
LONGUEUIL, QC, May 27 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to announce continuation of the road work at Pointe Nord on L'Île-des-Soeurs. The work will occasion important closings on Highway 15 North as well as the complete closing of Ramp 3 providing access to Highway 15 North via L'Île-des-Soeurs, on the following schedule:
- Friday, May 28 at 10:00 PM to Monday, May 31 at 5:00 AM - complete closing of Ramp 3 providing accesses to Highway 15 North from L'Île-des-Soeurs - Friday, May 28 at 11:00 PM to Saturday, May 29 at 6:00 AM - overnight closing on the right and centre lanes of Highway 15 North for the installation of a work site - Saturday, May 29 at 6:00 AM to Sunday, May 30 at 10:00 PM - daytime and night-time closing of one lane of Highway 15 North - Sunday, May 30 at 10:00 PM to Monday, May 31 at 5:00 AM - closing of the right and centre lanes of Highway 15 North for the removal of the work site
These closures will allow the installation of a water proofing membrane and paving of Viaduct 4, the Highway 15 viaduct over L'Île-des-Sœurs Boulevard.
There will be detour road via the Bonaventure Expressway and the Pierre-Dupuy Exit to allow L'Île-des-Soeurs residents to use Highway 15 North. Please note that this road work may be postponed depending on weather conditions.
