Important Safety Notice: Loblaw Issues Voluntary Recall of Everyday Essentials 12" Non-Stick Pan

BRAMPTON, ON, Feb. 28, 2013 /CNW/ - Loblaw Companies Limited (Loblaw) is voluntarily recalling the Everyday Essentials 12" Non-Stick Pan, because the handle could potentially come loose due to a manufacturing defect. The pan has a special black round plastic handle. The recall affects those products sold between November 27, 2012, and February 28, 2013, with the UPC 57197 00673 from these select Loblaw banner stores:

Ontario:	Fortinos, Loblaws, no frills, Real Canadian Wholesale Club, Real Canadian Superstore, Valu-mart, Your Independent Grocer, Zehrs
Atlantic:	Cash & Carry, Real Canadian Wholesale Club, Dominion, no frills, Save Easy, Real Canadian Superstore
Québec:	Loblaws, Maxi & Cie, Maxi, Presto, Club Entrepot, Provigo,
West:	Extra Foods, no frills, Real Canadian Wholesale Club, Real Canadian Superstore, Your Independent Grocer

The issue has been identified by the manufacturer and corrected. All potentially affected products have been removed from store shelves across the country.
