BRAMPTON, ON, Sept. 18, 2014 /CNW/ - Loblaw Companies Limited is recalling Everyday Essentials™ brand 15 oz. glass bowl mugs and 14 oz. glass tapered mugs (see attached photo) due to their potential to crack or break when filled with hot liquid. The products were sold from August 7, 2014 through to September 18, 2014 at the following stores:
Ontario:
Loblaws®, No Frills®, Real Canadian Superstore®, Extra Foods®, Fortinos Franchise®, Westfair®, Your Independent Grocer®, Zehrs® and AXEP affiliated stores.
Atlantic:
Dominion®, Save Easy®, Atlantic Superstore®
Québec:
Loblaws®, Maxi & Cie®, Maxi®, Presto®, Club Entrepot®, Provigo®
West:
Extra Foods®, Wholesale Club®, Real Canadian Superstore®, Your Independent Grocer®
Loblaw has received one injury report due to the product. All potentially affected products have been removed from store shelves across the country.
Customers can return the product to the place of purchase and the customer service desk will provide a full refund, with or without a receipt.
