Important Safety Notice: Voluntary Recall of President's Choice® Organics Primavera pasta sauce

BRAMPTON, ON, Oct. 24, 2014 /CNW/ - Out of an abundance of caution, Loblaw Companies Limited (Loblaw) is proactively recalling select jars of President's Choice® Organics Primavera pasta sauce with the UPC "0 6038369005 2" and expiration date 2015 AU 07 (see attached photo) due to a risk that they may contain plastic pieces.

The product was sold between October 20 and October 24, 2014 at the following Loblaw banner stores:

Ontario:	Extra Foods®, Fortinos®, Freshmart®, Loblaws®, nofrills®, Wholesale Club®, Real Canadian Superstore®, Valu-mart®, Westfair®, Your Independent Grocer®, Zehrs® and affiliated independent stores
Atlantic:	Dominion® (in Newfoundland only), Freshmart®, nofrills®, Save Easy® Atlantic Superstore® and affiliated independent stores

Although customers in Quebec and Western Canada may have purchased the product, only products in Ontario and Atlantic Canada may have been affected. For a complete list of stores please visit: http://www.loblawstores.ca.

All potentially affected products have been removed from store shelves across the country. Loblaw has received no complaints associated with the product.

Customers can return the product to any Loblaw banner store and the customer service desk will provide a full refund (with or without receipt).
