OTTAWA, Jan. 17, 2012 /CNW/ - The family of Jean Pigott would like to invite Canada's capital community to join them for a farewell Tea on Thursday, January 19th in Jean Pigott Place at Ottawa City Hall.
Please come and share your stories and memories as we celebrate her life.

Time: 2pm - 7pm
Venue: Jean Pigott Place, Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West
Speakers: At 4 p.m., Co-Masters of Ceremony, Max Keeping, CTV Ottawa's Ambassador to the Community and Marie Lemay, Chief Executive Officer, National Capital Commission will introduce His Worship Mayor Jim Watson. Other speakers to be confirmed.
There will be an opportunity for the public to sign a book of remembrance in Council Chambers (Andrew Haydon Hall).
In addition, a video corner will be set up where friends and members of the public can record a short story or memory of Jean.

Toronto Reception: A reception in Toronto for Morrison Lamothe employees and Jean's Toronto friends will be held on Monday, January 23 at 2p.m.
