TORONTO, July 18, 2012 /CNW/ - An expedited hearing has been scheduled before a Hearing Panel of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), in the matter of Peregrine Financial Group Canada, Inc. (Peregrine).
At the expedited hearing, IIROC staff will be seeking orders pursuant to Dealer Member Rules 20.41, 20.42 and 20.45. In particular, IIROC staff will be seeking, among other things, an order for the immediate suspension of Peregrine's membership.
The hearing is open to the public, unless the Hearing Panel orders otherwise. The decision of the Hearing Panel will be made available at www.iiroc.ca, where investors can also access an IIROC investor update on Peregrine Financial Group Canada.
