Inauguration of Airbus' new A220 delivery centre in Mirabel

MIRABEL, QC, Jan. 30, 2025 /CNW/ - As the A220 Programme continues to develop, Airbus is proud to inaugurate its brand new A220 Delivery Centre.

Airbus is inviting media representatives to join the inauguration of the A220 Delivery Centre to mark the achievement of this important milestone.

Representatives from Airbus, a long-standing A220 customer, and dignitaries will be on hand to mark the commissioning of the new delivery centre.

What:

The media are invited to attend the inauguration of the Airbus A220 delivery centre in Mirabel.

When:

Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

• 10:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.: Registration
• 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.: Departure for tour of the new A220 delivery centre
• 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.: Installation for ceremony
• 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.: Ceremony including a question period
• 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.: One-on-one interviews

Media are also invited to take part in a visit to the Airbus Atlantic Canada facilities nearby, starting at 1:45 p.m., to explore the design, assembly, integration of systems, and testing of the front and rear fuselages of the A220.
