Inbox Marketer Boasts above Average Email Deliverability Rates for First Half of 2012
GUELPH, ON, Aug. 9, 2012 /CNW/ - Inbox Marketer, a leading digital messaging firm, today announced it has outperformed North American deliverability rates for the first half of 2012.
Return Path, a leader in helping deliver legitimate email to the inbox, publishes deliverability metrics regularly. Return Path data shows a North American average Inbox Placement Rate (IPR) of 80.7% for the first half of 2012, and a 30 day average IPR of 81.3%. Inbox Marketer's IPR for the same period was 89.4% and 93.4%, respectively with some clients achieving IPRs of 96%.
"Legitimate email marketers need to ensure that messages reach their readers' inboxes," says Geoff Linton, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Inbox Marketer. "Deliverability is an important Quality Assurance metric. The Inbox Placement Rate (IPR) is the percentage of messages that actually make it into the inbox. Messages that are categorized into the 'Junk' or 'Missing' folders deflate your metrics and are wasted dollars."
"A higher IPR generally results in higher open rates for Inbox Marketer clients," Linton adds. "Further, some clients have directly correlated these higher open rates with higher conversion rates - the ultimate goal of any email marketing campaign."
To maintain above average deliverability rates, Inbox Marketer employs experienced specialists who perform key tasks, including:
- Proactively monitoring sender reputation - We constantly monitor IP reputations and use Quality Assurance tools to maintain excellent reputations with Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
- Focusing on best practices - We ensure our clients have quality opt-in lists and follow email guidelines and best practices.
- Resolving issues immediately - If a problem arises, we act quickly. We carefully manage complaints through feedback loops and monitoring. Incidents are tracked to ensure they are resolved.
