TORONTO, Sept. 19, 2017 /CNW/ - Individual tickets are now on sale for Canada 2020's event with President Barack Obama, happening Friday September 29th over lunch at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Canada 2020, Canada's leading, independent, progressive think-tank, is hosting the 44th President of the United States in Toronto for a speech followed by an on-stage interview on a wide array of topics.
Two new ticket tiers are available: individual reserved seats at tables of 10, and individual festival seating. Both are available now at canada2020.ca/barackobama.
"Canada 2020 was so overwhelmed by the excitement and enthusiasm for our event with President Obama," said Tom Pitfield, President of Canada 2020. "We're thrilled that we get to make the biggest political event of the year even bigger, and that more people will be in the room to see President Obama on our stage."
Previously, only tables of 10 were available for purchase. Based on overwhelming demand, Canada 2020 has opened up a new block of tickets.
Canada 2020 has also announced a partnership with Pathways to Education Canada to help bring low-income students to the event.
Registration and ticket sales close Monday, September 25th at 4 PM Eastern.
