Industrial Fatality at Redwater
CALGARY, April 27, 2016 /CNW/ - Pembina Pipeline Corporation ("Pembina") informs that at approximately 1:40 p.m. (MT) on Wednesday, April 27th, there was a contractor fatality at the Williams' Redwater Olefinic Fractionator located in Redwater, Alberta (the "Facility").
Pembina, as the operator of the Facility, will be launching a detailed investigation to determine the cause of the incident. In addition, an investigation will be conducted by Occupational Health and Safety and the relevant authorities.
The companies are deeply saddened by today's tragedy and offer their sincere condolences and support to the affected family members through this difficult time. Working safely is the top priority for both companies and all employees and contractors are encouraged to remain vigilant and to look out for everyone's safety.
