Industry Veteran Takes CFO Helm at AGF

TORONTO, March 10 /CNW/ - AGF Management Limited (AGF) announced that industry veteran Robert J. Bogart today assumed the role of Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Mr. Bogart oversees the financial management and reporting of the AGF Group of Companies and leads the Investor Relations function. He is responsible for finance, corporate accounting, taxation and funds oversight and also serves on the AGF Executive Committee and the Investments and Products Committee, among others.

Prior to joining AGF, Mr. Bogart was a senior executive with Fidelity Investments in Boston. He is a highly respected professional with an extensive background in tax and finance in the investment management industry including 17 years working in various capacities in both of Fidelity's U.S. and Canadian operations. He was CFO for Fidelity's Canadian operations from 1997 to 2002. His most recent role was that of Senior Vice-President of Finance, leading the Corporate Decision Support group in Boston.
