Information Picket to Highlight Bus and Rail Cuts in Maritimes to be held Wednesday, October 10

MONCTON, Oct. 9, 2012 /CNW/ - An information picket to highlight the impact of the pending closure of Acadian Bus Lines in the Maritime Provinces as well as cuts to east coast VIA Rail services will be held in Moncton, New Brunswick on Wednesday, October 10.

The information picket will be held Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm on Main Street in Moncton at city hall.

The CAW represents 40 members at Acadian Bus in Nova Scotia, which is slated to close Nov 30, 2012.  They also represent 250 members at VIA throughout Atlantic Canada.
