ING Robotic Aviation and iFMS to exhibit at Expocorma, Chile (International Forestry Convention)
OTTAWA, Nov. 4, 2013 /CNW/ - ING Robotic Aviation will be showcasing their fixed wing robotic aircraft system, Serenity, in collaboration with iFMS, at this years 2013 Expocorma Conference. Expocorma is an annual event that takes place this year from November 6-8 in Concepcion, Chile. As the leading conference for the forestry industry in Chile, Expocorma welcomes over 350 exhibitors from from over 30 countries and focuses on connecting important players within the sector.
iFMS recently purchased a Serenity system from ING Robotic Aviation in June of 2013. Serenity is an integral tool that uses both electro-optical and infrared cameras to provide a wide range of imagery to be used for immediate support in Chile. iFMS will be using Serenity for a variety of applications, ranging from forest fire monitoring to security surveillance to aerial surveys.
Delegates and media are asked to visit the ING/iFMS booth P-1 #345 in the Central Plaza from November 6-8, 2013. The booth will feature a complete Serenity system for viewing by the public. Additionally, the companies' CEOs, Ian Glenn and Gonzalo Soteras Leon, will be available for interviews during this time.
