INNOVA Announces Expansion of Local Progressive and Multi-Price Pilot in Ontario
30 Charitable Gaming locations to feature additional features by the end of 2015
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 14, 2015 /CNW/ - INNOVA Gaming Group Inc. ("INNOVA", the "Company") (TSX: IGG), today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Diamond Game Enterprises ULC ("Diamond Game"), has received approval from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation ("OLG") to expand the pilot of local progressive jackpot and multi-price features (the "Features") to all 30 of the Charitable Gaming locations where TapTix LT-3 break open ticket dispensers are currently installed in the province. Currently, the Features are live in three Ontario Charitable Gaming locations and the Features are expected to be live at all 30 locations by the end of 2015.
"The performance generated under the initial three pilot locations by the local progressive and multi-price features on our TapTix dispensers in Ontario has been a success," said Richard Weil, Chairman and CEO of INNOVA. "As projected, the TapTix devices that have the Features installed are generating higher levels of player engagement and win per unit than the devices without the Features. We look forward to continuing to work with OLG and all of our lottery partners to continue to deliver products and features that assist charities and social programs in the province that benefit from gaming activities."
Rick Gray, Vice President of Charitable Gaming at OLG added, "INNOVA has helped to develop and deliver the devices and features that Ontario consumers like. These additional features should continue to contribute incremental revenue for charities that depend on gaming revenue to serve their communities and we look forward to the expansion of this pilot to all of our Charitable Gaming Centres in the province of Ontario."
The local progressive jackpot feature enhances entertainment by offering a growing jackpot, and the multi-price feature allows players the option to purchase a single ticket at multiple price points, affording players even greater control of their gaming experience.
