Innovation Brings Strength to Ontario's Post-Secondary Education System
TORONTO, Oct. 11, 2012 /CNW/ - Earlier this month the College Student Alliance (CSA) published their response "Innovative Change in Ontario's College System" to the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities (MTCU) discussion paper "Strengthening Ontario's Centres of Creativity, Innovation and Knowledge." This response comes after months of roundtable discussions including government, institutions and student groups.
"We are pleased to have been included in this process from the beginning and believe that we have submitted recommendations that will positively affect the students we represent" says Tyler Epp, Director of Advocacy of the College Student Alliance. "Having been included in these discussions gives students the voice they deserve during a crucial time in the growth of Ontario's post secondary education."
The College Student Alliance (CSA) is an advocacy organization, which has been proudly serving Ontario's college and college students since 1975. The CSA currently represents 16 colleges and 23 student councils with over 135,000 full-time student members throughout the province. The CSA has published the response online at www.collegestudentalliance.ca.
