Innovative practices from coast to coast to coast now fully integrated in the Leading Practices Database at Accreditation Canada Français
OTTAWA, Feb. 18, 2014 /CNW/ - Accreditation Canada is pleased to announce the complete integration of the contents of the Health Innovation Portal (developed and launched by the Health Council of Canada in November, 2012) with its Leading Practices Database.
The Leading Practices Database now features more than 900 innovative practices submitted from health care organizations across Canada. Leading Practices are innovative and creative, client and family-centred, evaluated, able to demonstrate intended results, sustainable and adaptable.
"Our presence in all sectors across the health care continuum provides an excellent opportunity for sharing innovative practices from health organizations nationally and internationally," said Wendy Nicklin, President and CEO of Accreditation Canada. "The consolidation of these innovative practices in one searchable database will continue to foster inter-organizational learning and the harvesting of new ideas across the health system."
All health care organizations may submit Leading Practices through the Accreditation Canada website.
