Inquest into the death of Dylan Wreggitt announced

THUNDER BAY, ON, July 29 /CNW/ - Dr. Michael B. Wilson, Regional Supervising Coroner for North Region, Thunder Bay Office, today announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Dylan Wreggitt.
Mr. Wreggitt, 21, died on August 15, 2009, at Riverside Health Care Facilities, La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, following his arrest by the Ontario Provincial Police. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine the events surrounding Mr. Wreggitt's death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
The inquest is expected to last three days.
The inquest will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at the Fort Frances courthouse, 333 Church Street. Dr. David Legge will preside as inquest coroner and Mr. Robert Young will be counsel to the coroner.
