Inquest into the death of Lorne Weber announced

HAMILTON, ON, July 26 /CNW/ - Dr. Jack Stanborough, Regional Supervising Coroner for West Region, Hamilton Office, today announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Lorne Weber.
Mr. Weber, 54, died on September 15, 2005, from injuries received during the course of his employment at a construction site in Cambridge. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine the events surrounding Mr. Weber's death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
The inquest is expected to last two days and will hear from approximately three witnesses.
The inquest will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at the Superior Court of Justice, 20 Weber Street East, Kitchener. Dr. William Ewen will preside as inquest coroner and Ms. Anita Etheridge will be counsel to the coroner.
