Inquest into the death of Stephen Cuthbertson announced

TORONTO, April 19 /CNW/ - Dr. James Edwards, Regional Supervising Coroner for Central Region, Toronto East Office, today announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Stephen Cuthbertson.
Mr. Cuthbertson, 27, died on October 3, 2007, from injuries received during the course of his employment at a construction site in Toronto. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine events surrounding Mr. Cuthbertson's death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
The inquest is expected to last one week.
The inquest will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 10, 2010, at the Toronto Coroners Courts, 15 Grosvenor Street. Dr. Reuven Jhirad will preside as inquest coroner and Ms. Rebecca Edward will act as counsel to the coroner.
