Inquest into the death of Steven Lundy announced

GUELPH, ON, May 26 /CNW/ - Dr. Dirk Huyer, Regional Supervising Coroner for Central Region, Guelph Office, today announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Steven Lundy.
Mr. Lundy, 23, died on April 22, 2008, from injuries received during the course of his employment at a construction site in Halton Hills. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine the events surrounding Mr. Lundy's death. The inquest jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
The inquest is expected to last four days and will hear from approximately ten witnesses.
The inquest will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 14, 2010, at the Best Western Milton Inn, 161 Chisholm Drive. Dr. Reuven Jhirad will preside as inquest coroner and Mr. Richard Garwood-Jones will be counsel to the coroner.
