Inquest into the death of Terence Harold Doyle announced

TORONTO, May 21 /CNW/ - Dr. Bonita Porter, Deputy Chief Coroner for Inquests, today announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Terence Harold Doyle.
Mr. Doyle, 58, died on June 17, 2008, at the Kingston General Hospital following a transfer from the Bath Institution. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine the events surrounding Mr. Doyle's death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
The inquest is expected to last one day.
The inquest will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at the Superior Court of Justice, 5 Court Street, Courtroom D, Kingston. Dr. Roger Skinner will preside as inquest coroner and Mr. Gerard Laarhuis will be counsel to the coroner.
