Inquest into the deaths of Diane Anderson, Tayjah Simpson and Jahziah
Whittaker announced

TORONTO, June 23 /CNW/ - Dr. Dan Cass, Regional Supervising Coroner for Central Region, Toronto West Office, today announced that an inquest will be held into the deaths of Diane Anderson, Tayjah Simpson and Jahziah Whittaker.

Ms. Anderson, 35, Tayjah, 9 and Jahziah, 3, died on December 22, 2007, in a Toronto Community Housing Project.

The inquest will examine the events surrounding these deaths. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.

The inquest will start at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 18, 2010, at the Ontario Court of Justice, 180 Dundas Street West, Suite 2010, Toronto. Dr. David H. Evans will preside as inquest coroner and Ms. Rebecca Edward will be counsel to the coroner.
