Inter Pipeline Announces Voting Results from Annual Meeting
CALGARY, May 8, 2018 /CNW/ - Inter Pipeline Ltd. ("Inter Pipeline") (TSX: IPL) announced today the voting results from its annual meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") held May 7, 2018 in Calgary, Alberta. Shareholders were asked to vote on a number of proposals as described in detail in Inter Pipeline's Management Information Circular dated March 19, 2018.
A total of 383,161,288 common shares representing 48.03% of Inter Pipeline's issued and outstanding shares were voted in person or by proxy in connection with the Meeting.
Election of Directors

Other Matters
All other resolutions tabled at the Meeting were successfully approved by shareholders including the vote on the adoption of new by-laws incorporating advance notice provisions and on the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as auditors. The approach to executive compensation as detailed in Inter Pipeline's Management Information Circular was accepted with 94.06% of votes cast in favour.
