today announced the conclusion of collective bargaining with the Canadian Automobile Workers Local 1016 which represents approximately 300 employees (including Air Traffic Operations Specialists, Training Simulation Specialists, and others).
The parties voluntarily entered into the arbitration process and the award received today is final and binding. The new collective agreement runs until
June 30, 2011
, and provides for wage increases of 1 per cent on
July 1, 2009
, 1 per cent on
January 1, 2010
and 1 per cent on
July 1, 2010
, followed by a 1.5 per cent increase on
January 1, 2011
