International Tower Hill Mines Announces Results from Annual General Meeting of Shareholders
VANCOUVER, May 30, 2014 /CNW/ - International Tower Hill Mines Ltd. ("ITH" or the "Company") - (TSX: ITH, NYSE-MKT: THM, Frankfurt: IW9) announces the results from its 2014 Annual General Meeting of shareholders held in Vancouver, B.C. on Thursday, May 29, 2014 ("Meeting").
At the Meeting, the Company's shareholders fixed the size of the board at five and the following individuals were re-elected as directors of the Company, with all receiving a majority of the votes cast: Stephen Lang, Mark Hamilton, Anton Drescher, John Ellis and Thomas Weng. The shareholders also re-appointed the current auditors, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Chartered Accountants, as auditors of the Company for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2014 and authorized the directors to fix their remuneration.
The shareholders approved, on an advisory non-binding basis ("Say on Pay"), the compensation paid to the Company's executive officers by over a 98% majority.
