International Women's Day 2019 Closes the Market

TORONTO, March 8, 2019 /CNW/ - In celebration of International Women's Day 2019, a number of executives and members of the capital markets community, joined Tanya Rowntree, Global Head of Client Success, Capital Formation, TMX Group, and Co-Chair, WE Canada, to close the market. For a fifth year, Women in ETFs is partnering with UN Global Compact, UN Women, Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) Initiative, IFC, and the World Federation of Stock Exchanges. Market opens will be held in approximately 75 exchanges globally to raise awareness about the business case for women's economic empowerment and the opportunities for the private sector to advance gender equality and sustainable development and focus on this year's theme, "BalanceforBetter".
