Interview and Photo Opportunity at Finish Line: Novartis employees complete 600-km bike race today Français
- The annual Ride for Life ride raised close to $75,000 for breast cancer research
DORVAL, QC, Sept. 26, 2017 /CNW/ - Come cheer on 54 Novartis employees as they cross the finish line today after a 3.5 day, 600-kilometer charitable bike race that raised funds for the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation (QBCF). The company's annual Ride for Life kicked off in Toronto on September 23rd, making stops in Kingston and Ottawa before returning home to Montreal.
In Quebec, one out of nine women will develop breast cancer in the course of her lifetime and sadly, one out of 30 women will die from it.1
