Interview Opportunity - At Age 84, a Deserving Senior Fulfills her Lifelong Dream to Fly in a Jet Français
MONTRÉAL, June 14, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - In 1943, a 9-year-old girl watched The White Cliffs of Dover and was enchanted by the views of an airplane cockpit. That moment sparked a 75-year dream for Osanne Carroll Boucher, and she vowed to one-day fly in a fighter jet: "I knew at that moment that I wanted to experience it," she said.
On June 16th, thanks to Wish of a Lifetime Canada and Chartwell Retirement Residences, she will attend the Les Faucheurs de Marguerites Air Show with her two sons, Daniel and Pierre where she will take flight in a L-29 Delfin Czechoslovakian Military Jet Trainer.

Who is Osanne Caroll Boucher?
She grew up in New Brunswick near a U.S. Air Force base in Limestone, Maine. She spent her childhood staring at the sky looking for B-52s, fighter jets, and other planes, hoping each day to catch a glimpse of the impossible maneuvers and training drills. Her enthusiasm for flight never disappeared as she raised five children to whom she dedicated her life to. Her passion for aviation inspired her son, Kenneth, who is now a plane engine specialist.
Osanne devoted herself to others, mentoring those who struggled with addiction and sharing her joie de vivre. Six years ago, however, Osanne's world was shattered when her husband received an Alzheimer's diagnosis that now forces them to live apart. Despite her sorrow, Osanne still mentors addicts and works to ensure that everyone finds joy in life.
