INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITY: Canadian celebrity Jasmine Lorimer on the parallels of car shopping vs dating
TORONTO, Sept. 18, 2017 /CNW/ - Navigating the modern age of dating is no easy feat. And with the amount of options for cars, neither is shopping for a new vehicle. Canadian celebrity Jasmine Lorimer wants to show that you can have it all and don't have to compromise to find the 'whole package'.
In a survey powered by Maru/Match and commissioned by Hyundai Canada, women are more sensible – 77 per cent look for reliability in a potential partner, and 87 per cent say they look for it in a car (compared to 66% and 80% of men). Women are also more likely to consider compatibility when dating and car shopping. Eighty per cent look for compatible lifestyles with a partner (versus 69% of men); while 35 per cent of women consider compatibility when car shopping (compared to 29% of men).
Through a first of its kind automotive media buy in Canada with Tinder, Hyundai promoted a national contest for Canadians to win a date with Canadian celebrities Jasmine Lorimer and Joey Scarpellino.
