Interview/Photo Opportunity - Kraft Peanut Butter Bears Spread the Feeling
with Free Hugs at West Edmonton Mall
EDMONTON, Aug. 13 /CNW/ - Join Kraft Peanut Butter Bears 'Smoothie' and 'Crunchy' as they give free bear hugs at West Edmonton Mall in an effort to relieve hunger in Edmonton. For each hug given, Kraft Peanut Butter will donate one 500 gram jar of Kraft Peanut Butter to Edmonton's Food Bank. For those who can't make it to West Edmonton Mall, help Spread the Feeling online by visiting spreadthefeeling.ca to send a virtual hug. Whether online or in person, Kraft hopes to generate enough hugs to donate up to 7,500 jars of Kraft Peanut Butter to Edmonton's Food Bank.
Unfortunately hunger never takes a vacation, which means donations are especially important this time of year. Supporting more than 190 agencies, churches and food depots, Edmonton's Food Bank helps more than 15,000 individuals per month, 40 per cent of whom are children. Peanut butter is an important food product as it is a source of four essential nutrients and is a part of the array of nutritious foods that helps adults and children get the balanced diet they require.
