Intrexon Announces Filing of Registration Statement For Proposed Initial Public Offering

GERMANTOWN, Md., July 9, 2013 /CNW/ - Intrexon Corporation ("Intrexon"), today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "Commission") relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined.

J.P. Morgan and Barclays will serve as joint book-running managers in the proposed offering.
