Breakfast Club of Canada Bringing Healthy Breakfasts to Dougall Avenue Public School
WINDSOR, ON, March 28, 2014 /CNW/ - This morning, Breakfast Club of Canada, in partnership with Minute Maid®, launched Ontario's newest Breakfast Club program at Dougall Avenue Public School in Windsor.
The Hon. Teresa Piruzza, Member of Provincial Parliament for Windsor West and Minister of Children and Youth Services, joined Dougall Avenue Public School students for a healthy start to their school day.
The newest Ontario Breakfast Club will benefit over 55 students each day. The Breakfast Club program will provide students with a healthy breakfast in a supportive environment that makes connections between a healthy meal and lifestyle. Windsor Jumpstart Student Nutrition Program is the local lead partner with Breakfast Club of Canada.
