Investing in New Brunswick's Art and Culture - Government of Canada provides financial support for Winterfesthiver 2014 Français
FREDERICTON, Feb. 4, 2014 /CNW/ - The Honourable Keith Ashfield, Member of Parliament (Fredericton), today announced $10,000 in funding for Winterfesthiver 2014 on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
The Government of Canada has provided funding through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to support Winterfesthiver. The 12th edition of the event took place on February 1 and 2 at the Capital Exhibit Centre in Fredericton. The activities included musical performances featuring local artists, snow sculpting demonstrations, and artists' displays.
