Government of Canada provides funding for arts and culture organizations in Halifax
HALIFAX, Jan. 10, 2014 /CNW/ - The Government of Canada has provided $274,000 in total funding through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund to enable a variety of arts and culture organizations to hold cultural events in Halifax in 2014 and 2015.
Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and Member of Parliament (Central Nova) Peter MacKay today announced funding for six arts organizations on behalf of Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages Shelly Glover. Recipient organizations will provide audiences in Nova Scotia with opportunities to enjoy music, dance, theatre, comedy and circus performances.

- Halifax International Busker Festival ($23,000 - Atlantic Buskers Festival Society)
