MONTREAL, Nov. 24, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Air Liquide Canada, a subsidiary of the Air Liquide Group, a world leader in gases, technologies and services for Industry and Health, today announced that it has acquired 100% of the shares in Trois-Rivières-based Oxygène Pro-Tech Inc. and Rimouski-based Métalox (2000) Inc. Both companies are Canadian-owned independent distributors based in Quebec and specializing in the distribution of industrial gases and welding equipment.

As a result of these acquisitions, the management and teams in place at both Métalox (2000) and Oxygène Pro-Tech will become employees of Air Liquide Canada. Customers will continue to receive the same service they are used to while benefiting from innovative solutions available at Air Liquide.
