Investments of Macquarie Group Limited in Probe Mines Limited

TORONTO, March 27, 2012 /CNW/ - Macquarie Group Limited ("Macquarie") announces that it has ownership of 5,158,100 common shares and 1,475,000 warrants of Probe Mines Limited (Probe), each warrant exercisable for one common share of Probe. To Macquarie's knowledge, this represents approximately 10.02% of the issued and outstanding shares of Probe on a partially-diluted basis.

Macquarie has acquired the shares for investment purposes only.  Depending on market and other conditions, Macquarie may change its beneficial ownership of, or potential deemed control or direction over, shares of Probe through market transactions, private agreements, treasury issuances, exercise of options, convertible securities or otherwise.
