Invitation to media - F-1 drivers Mark Webber and Pastor Maldonado experience the reality of impaired driving … without the risks!
QUEBEC, May 31, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Myths associated with impaired driving - the use of alcohol, drugs and pharmaceuticals and the effects of fatigue - will be broken when these Formula 1 drivers take part in an event on Thursday, June 7, at Parc Jean-Drapeau, to raise awareness is called Impaired driving: would you pass the test?
On this occasion, Australian Mark Webber, winner of the 2012 Grand Prix of Monaco, and Venezuelan Pastor Maldonado, winner of the latest Grand Prix of Spain, will perform a highly revealing demonstration on the dangers of impaired driving by using the CAA driving simulator, under the watchful eye of three agents from Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
This activity is made possible by FIA's Action for Road Safety, the CAA and CAA-Quebec. For any questions about road safety in Quebec, representatives from CAA and CAA-Quebec will be on site.
