Élisabeth Brière, Member of Parliament for Sherbrooke and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages (Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec), the Honourable Mélanie Joly, invites media representatives to a press conference on Government of Canada support for several winter tourism organizations, assistance provided under the Winter Tourism Initiative.

The practice of winter trail activities contributes to the vitality of Quebec's regions. The Government of Canada's Winter Tourism Initiative aims to promote the use of cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and quad sites by tourists from Quebec and elsewhere.
