Invitation to media - Government of Canada supports two Montréal college centres for technology transfer (CCTT) Français
MONTRÉAL, Feb. 13, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Member of Parliament for Hochelaga and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, will announce Government of Canada financial support for the Centre d'études des procédés chimiques du Québec (CÉPROCQ) and the Institut de technologie des emballages et du génie alimentaire (ITEGA), two Collège de Maisonneuve CCTTs.
CÉPROCQ's mission is to foster the expansion and competitiveness of SMEs working in the fields of green chemical processes, bioeconomics and sustainable development. Regarding ITEGA, it develops and shares innovative packaging and food processing practices, enabling the organizations it serves to distinguish themselves on the economic, environmental and social levels.
The announcement of this financial contribution from CED will be made on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages.
After the press conference, the media will be offered a guided tour of the CCTTs.
