Invitation to media - Member of Parliament Élisabeth Brière to announce Government of Canada support for Sherbrooke-based Centre de technologies avancées BRP

SHERBROOKE, QC, Aug. 15, 2023 /CNW/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

Élisabeth Brière, Member of Parliament for Sherbrooke and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions and Associate Minister of Health, will announce Government of Canada financial assistance to support the growth of the Centre de technologies avancées BRP (CTA), an organization active in the mobility sector.

The CTA focuses on vehicle innovations for the specialized vehicle market (rescue vehicles, recreational vehicles, rovers for the Canadian Space Agency, electric aircraft, etc.). Its main role is to advance technological innovation while training highly skilled labour.

The announcement of this CED financial contribution will be made on behalf of the Honourable Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for CED.
