Invitation to media - Members of Parliament William Amos and Stéphane Lauzon to announce investments to support practice of winter activities in Outaouais region Français
GATINEAU, QC, April 7, 2021 /CNW/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
William Amos, Member of Parliament for Pontiac and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry (Science), and Stéphane Lauzon, Member of Parliament for Argenteuil—La Petite-Nation and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Seniors, invite media representatives to a press conference on Government of Canada support for ten winter tourism organizations, assistance provided under the Winter Tourism Initiative.
The announcement of these CED financial contributions will be made on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages.
The practice of winter trail activities contributes to the vitality of Quebec's regions. The Government of Canada's Winter Tourism Initiative aims to promote the use of cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and quad sites by tourists from Quebec and elsewhere.
