Invitation to media - Minister François-Philippe Champagne to announce investments to support clean technology development in Mauricie and Centre-du-Québec regions Français

The Government of Canada considers the environment and clean technologies as key elements of the economic recovery.
With this in mind, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Member of Parliament for Saint–Maurice–Champlain and Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, invites media representatives to a press conference regarding assistance from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions for Annexair and Biotechnologies Ulysse. He will be accompanied by the Honourable Pablo Rodriguez, Member of Parliament for Honoré–Mercier, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons and Quebec Lieutenant.
The announcement of these CED financial contributions will be made on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages.
Businesses and organizations have much to gain by establishing environmental measures that will enable them to maintain their competitiveness and mitigate future climate impacts, while also meeting the growing global demand for clean technologies.
