Invitation to the media - Provincial and Territorial leaders will meet for the Québec City Summit on climate change

QUÉBEC CITY, April 9, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Québec Premier Philippe Couillard will host the Québec City Summit on climate change on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Representatives of all provinces and territories will discuss existing best practices and promising solutions to combat climate change and bolster intergovernmental collaboration.

Special guests will include Christiana Figueres, Secretary General of the United Nations Framework Agreement on Climate Change, and Mark Kenber, CEO of the Climate Group.

7 a.m. to 9 a.m.	Media registration	Lobby

12 noon	Luncheon with Keynote speaker Christiana Figueres, Secretary General of the United Nations Framework Agreement on Climate Change	Salle Saint-Louis (1st floor)
1:30 p.m.	In camera deliberations of the premiers and heads of delegations
3:30 p.m.	Press conference	Salle Kent-Saint-Louis (1st floor)

The Salle Beauport on the 2nd floor will be available to the media, from which they can follow the morning's proceedings live. Lunch will be served in the room.
