Invitation to the media - The first public cord blood bank operating in Canada highlights the receipt of its 10,000th unit.

MONTRÉAL, Dec. 21, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Héma-Québec invites the representatives of the media to attend the banking of the 10,000th cord blood unit in its laboratories. This Canadian expertise is used throughout the world and the distribution of the 100th unit will also be celebrated.

Mai Duong, Charles Domingue and Lucas DiTecco, three cord blood stem cell transplant recipients, will take part in the event, in the company of Valérye Dubois, a mother who has made three contributions to the bank.
