Invitation to the media - The FNEC will be holding its third edition of the
Inter-School Games
WENDAKE, QC, June 3 /CNW Telbec/ - The First Nations Education Council (FNEC) will be holding its third edition of the Inter-School Games, from June 3-6, 2010, at the Université de Sherbrooke. The objective of the Inter-School Games is to provide an opportunity for young First Nations students to participate in a stimulating experience that promotes a healthy lifestyle. This activity is just as important to the students because First Nations schools do not have a budget to organize sport and leisure activities. This year, some 300 students from several communities are expected to participate in the different disciplines; volleyball, basketball, floor hockey and track and field.
