Invitation to the media - Public announcement of the signing of a framework agreement between the First Nations Education Council and Université Laval

QUEBEC, Dec. 7, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - Members of the media are invited to attend the public announcement of the signing of a framework agreement between the First Nations Education Council and Université Laval for the joint creation of an Indigenous university centre of excellence.

The event will be attended by Innu Elder Élisabeth Ashini; Chief of Gesgapegiag and the FNEC Chiefs Committee, John Martin; FNEC Director General, Denis Gros-Louis; Université Laval Vice Rector of Academic and Student Affairs, Cathia Bergeron; and the Senior Advisor on Reconciliation and Indigenous Education at Université Laval, Michèle Audette, who will be speaking on the occasion.
